James May, has been a member of South Alabama Electric Cooperative (SAEC) for over 30 years. He and his wife, Carolyn, are long-time Crenshaw County residents. They have 2 sons: James, Jr. and Jeremy. They are members of the Helicon Baptist Church where he serves as a deacon and chairman of the Trustee Board. He has been a project engineer for Montgomery County for 26 years. May also serves on the Mon-Cre Telephone Cooperative Board and on the Crenshaw County Economic and Industrial Development Authority.
