South Alabama Electric Cooperative knows every one of our members is different. No billing method can work for everyone, which is why we offer a wide variety of payment options. Whether you prefer to make a payment in person or want to set up automatic billing so you never have to think about it again, SAEC has something that will fit into your life.

SAEC CONNECT APP

The SAEC app gives members access to their bill and all of their account information from any mobile device. Make payments, change your billing method and even set notifications to let you know when your bill has posted. With the SAEC app, you have full control of your electric account wherever you are, so you never have to worry about forgetting a payment again.

PREPAY BILLING

If billing on a monthly schedule doesn’t fit your life, Prepay Billing lets you set the schedule. Monitor your electric usage by month, week or even day and compare it to previous years to avoid any unwelcome surprises. Add money to your account and receive notifications when funds are running out. Add more money whenever you choose, just like filling up the gas tank on your car.

BANK DRAFT DIRECT PAYMENT

Setting up direct payment is an easy and inexpensive way to make sure you never forget a bill payment. Just sign up with the checking account of your choice, and your payment will be automatically deducted from that account each month without you having to write a check or pay postage. You’ll still receive a monthly billing card with information about your bill and a reminder that you are on the direct payment plan.

E-BILLING

Tired of old paper bills piling up? Sign up for E-Billing to get rid of the clutter. Just have your account number and email address ready and download the application from our website. You’ll have a paperless digital bill arriving in your inbox in no time.

LEVELIZED BILLING 

Levelized Billing cuts out the bill swings your household might experience during extremely cold or extremely hot months. While the amount you pay will still vary month to month, leveled billing is based on average monthly kilowatt-hour usage. That means no surprise spikes in your monthly bill, making it easier to budget and make financial plans ahead of time.

IN PERSON

If you prefer to do business in person, SAEC has you covered. Members can visit our office Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. You can also pay your bill at several banks, including any local branch of Regions Bank or Troy Bank and Trust, 1st National Bank of Brundidge and Troy, or the First Citizens Luverne branch, as well as at the Buy Rite in Banks and the Country 1 Stop in Honoraville. If you need to make a payment after hours, our night depository is available at the front entrance to our office at any time.
