Want more control over your electric bill? SAEC’s Pre-Pay Billing program keeps unwelcome surprises from your mailbox and helps you track how much energy you’re using.

What is Pre-Pay?

Pre-Pay allows members to pay their electric bill upfront instead of waiting for a bill. Simply put money into your account and add more at any time, day or night, when funds get low.

You also get daily text messages or emails showing your electric usage so you can keep a close eye on your expenses. No more waiting for that monthly bill — your account is right at your fingertips on your computer or through the SAEC app.

How does it work?

As a Pre-Pay member, you no longer receive a power bill and you won’t be charged disconnect or reconnect fees. Your account balance and energy usage will be available online or on your phone.

A $50 minimum balance toward your electric bill is required to start. When your balance reaches $20, you will receive text or email alerts so you know it’s time to add more money. If you’re already a member of SAEC and have paid a deposit, that money will go directly toward your Pre-Pay account.
