Rebate Information for New and Existing Homes Qualified home owners will receive a $200 per ton cash rebate for Dual Fuel Heat Pumps. To qualify, these heat pumps may not have any electric strip heat. Geothermal heat pumps qualify for rebates of $600 per ton. Please keep in mind that a rebate will not automatically apply just because a heat pump is installed. The house, whether new or improved, must meet the Touchstone Energy Home criteria for the rebate to apply. Manufactured Home Rebates South Alabama Electric will provide a $300 cash incentive to new homeowners of qualified Energy Efficient Maunfactured Homes.
